About Bronagh

My obsession with photography began in 2007 when I found myself on maternity leave at home with my newborn son. Photographing babies soon became the thing that prevented the dreaded “baby brain” and gave me something else to focus on! Babies and children are still my favourite subjects to photograph.

With the arrival of a baby girl in 2010, I now have two growing and changing models that are only too willing to get in front of the camera. Capturing the expressions of children and their interaction with others makes for treasured photos that will give families joy for years. It’s a privilege to be invited to do this for others.

Having completed various courses in Photography, Photo Editing and Lighting at St John’s College Cork and UCC, this has ignited an interest in other areas of photography such as wedding photography and night-time photography. Some samples of this can be viewed on the Random Stuff section.

I have been lucky enough in the past to act as assistant photographer to Award Winning Photographer Mike Brown on many weddings over the last few years. You can never underestimate the things you can learn from watching a true pro in action!

At various times since 2009 I have taught Beginners Digital Photography in Rossa College, Skibbereen.
